work, that I haven't had much time to relax. I had to wake up extra early to set up for a Chamber of Commerce event that my employer was sponsoring, so I enjoyed sleeping in today. Instead of immediately getting on the computer or jumping into crafting, my hubby and I checked out some local yard sales and then picked up a few supplies we needed. Not exactly romantic, but we enjoy spending this time together. It gives us a chance to discuss how our little business is doing and make plans for future projects. We spent last night at Hobby Lobby. They are building one of their stores in the city next to ours (opens October 18), but there is already one about 45 minutes away (by car). I'd never been to Hobby Lobby, but I've heard so much about it that I couldn't resist checking it out. It was like entering crafter's heaven!! My hubby cracks up watching me get excited over crafting supplies. He loves them, too, but he's less vocal and child-like about it. Now that we have some new supplies to work with, we'll probably spend part of the rest of our long weekend making things for our Etsy shop and preparing for a boutique my employer hosts in November. It's nice to have some extra time away from my day job, but I'm making sure I take a decent break and don't spend all my time crafting.
