Giveaway for My Birthday - Closed

In honor of my birthday,  I've decided to have a giveaway.  My husband is Navajo and it's very common in his culture to have giveaways for special occasions. I'm originally from the Northwest and we have potlatches out there. The interesting thing is that potlatches were once outlawed as being contrary to proper civilized society (that one baffles me).  Their giveaways are on a much grander scale, but I'm scaling back to the level appropriate for a blog.  I always liked the idea of celebrating a special day by giving to those you care about.  This blog and my Etsy shop have become very important to me and I care about all of you who are taking the time to read the blog and check out our shop.

I really, really want the giveaway winner to get something they want, so there will be three options to choose from.  On the entry form you will need to select which package you want if you win.  If over 100 people enter, I will pick two winners.  If over 200 people enter, I will select a winner for each prize package (that's three winners!).  That means telling more people increases your chances of winning in extra ways.

  • Scrapbooking package - Fun variety of items purchased from Close to My Heart and a few other places.  Foam ornaments, several different colors of brads, mini round album, Halloween Parade acrylic stamps, and Paw Prints cardstock collection.  Great for scrapbooking, card making, or other paper artistry.

  • Tatting package - A pair of tatted and beaded star earrings plus a fun organizer box to keep your tatting (or other craft) supplies in.  I keep my shuttles in the larger compartment and keep needles, beads, and bobbins in the other compartments.

  • Upcycled package - A hair clip and necklace made of upcycled soda cups. Beautifully "green" and great conversation starters.

I'm trying something new that I found during Blogmania.  It's an embedded form that enters the information in a Google Doc spreadsheet.  This makes it easier to make sure all the required information got entered and keeps all your information completely private.  For all the things that give you extra entries, I will be able to add your name in again (and again and again...).  Feel free to leave comments about this.  I will do a post about this process after the giveaway and a tutorial on how to embed a form into a blog post.
